Dear Readers:

VERA Files has come up with a list of members of political dynasties who were elected in the May 10 polls. We have plotted the dynasties on a map, listing the name and positions of the family member by province.

The list is by no means complete.  We were able to go only as far as the gubernatorial, congressional levels and city levels.  We have not scrutinized the winners at the town level—mayors, vice mayors, councilors—as well as provincial councils.

We need your help in completing the map.  If you know of dynasties or their members who won in whatever position last May 10, please let us know– provide us the name of the official, his or her position, and relationship to other members of the dynasty (e.g. son of the governor, nephew of the congressman, etc.).  The relationship among members of the dynasty may not be obvious, as in for example, they have different surnames or are third generation members.  We know those of  you living in places where dynasties rule are familiar with these relationships.
