38 percent to vote for pro-RH bill candidates
NEARLY four of 10 registered voters say they will vote for candidates who favor the Reproductive Health Bill, and only 6 percent will vote for those who oppose it, according to the January survey of the Social Weather Stations.
The survey also found 68 percent favor giving couples access to all legal means of family planning from public health services and 52 percent find natural family planning methods to be “almost always effective or effective most of the time.”

Roxas lead over Legarda drops; Revilla, Cayetano, Estrada lead Senate race
SEN. Manuel Roxas of the Liberal Party continues to lead other vice presidential candidates even as his margin over Sen. Loren Legarda of the Nacionalista Parta has narrowed since January, according to the Social Weather Stations’ poll in late February.
In the Senate race, Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. Pilar Juliana Cayetano and Jinggoy Estrada also continue to be the leaders, the survey showed.

Revilla, Estrada, Santiago tied in 1st place — Pulse Asia
FOURTEEN senatorial candidates led by incumbent senators Ramon Revilla Jr., Jinggoy Estrada and Miriam P. Defensor-Santiago stand a statistical chance of winning if elections were held now, according to Pulse Asia.
Revilla, Estrada and Santiago are in fact statistically tied for first place, the February 2010 pre-election survey showed.

Aquino, Villar in statistical tie — SWS
THE race to Malacañang has become very tight with the top two “presidentiables” locked in a statistical tie, a Social Weather Stations survey commissioned by BusinessWorld showed.
The poll, the third conducted by the survey research institution for this newspaper, found the front-runners — senators Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” C. Aquino III and Manuel “Manny” B. Villar Jr. — both losing ground among voters with little over two months to go before the May 10 national elections.

Aquino widens lead in Pulse Asia February poll
LIBERAL Party standard bearer Benigno “Noynoy” C. Aquino III has widened his lead over Nacionalista Party’s Manuel Villar in the latest survey of Pulse Asia.
In a survey conducted Feb. 21 to 25, Aquino was preferred by 36 percent on the question “Who would you vote if the 2010 elections were held today?” Villar scored 29 percent. (Read full text of Pulse Asia’s media release)
The seven percentage point difference strengthened Aquino’s lead unlike in the Jan. 10 survey when they were statistically tied with Aquino’s 37 percent and Villar’s 35 percent.

Villar, Aquino most trusted presidential bet–Pulse Asia
SENATORS Manuel Villar Jr. and Benigno Aquino III are the most trusted presidential candidates, according to a Pulse Asia survey.
The survey, taken from Jan. 22 to 26, shows Villar and Aquino with trust ratings of 70 and 64 percent, respectively.
Among the vice presidential bets, the most trusted are Senators Manuel A. Roxas II (73 percent) and Loren Legarda (61 percent), according to results.

Aquino, Villar statistically tied in latest Pulse Asia survey
WITH about four months to go before the May 10, 2010 elections, presidential candidates Sen. Benigno C. Aquino (Liberal Party) and Sen. Manuel B. Villar (Nacionalista Party) are tied in first place in the latest Pulse Asia survey.
In the survey conducted nationwide Jan. 22 to 26 among 1,800 respondents, Aquino gained the votes of 37 percent got Villar 35 percent. The survey had a margin of error of +/-2 percent.

Aquino leads SWS’ December poll
SEN. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar and former President Joseph Estrada are leading in the presidential race, according to the Dec. 5-10 pre-election survey of BusinessWorld and the Social Weather Stations.
The survey also found Senators Manuel Roxas and Loren Legarda leading in the ice presidential race.
In the Senate race, Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago, Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. and Sen. Jinggoy Estrada lead the first circle of 12 that includes three candidates from the Liberal Party, two from Lakas-Kampi-CMD, two from Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino, one each from the People’s Reform Party, Nacionalista Party, Nationalist People’s Coalition, and Kilusang Bagong Lipunan, and one independent.
