The ICC and the Filipino (Part 2)

During the first six months of 2021, International Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda is expected to decide whether to recommend launching an investigation into President Rodrigo Duterte’s bloody war on drugs.

In the second video explainer series on the ICC, Ruben Carranza of the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) will discuss the possible case to be filed against officials involved in the war on drugs, and the implications of the ICC investigation on Duterte and the Filipino people.
