A video published by a pro-Duterte Facebook page on Nov. 14 that shows photos of Vice President Leni Robredo with a man it claims is her “ex-lover” is fake news.
The report is fake, but uses the findings from an SWS poll released on Oct 7 about whether or not Filipinos believe President Rodrigo Duterte has health problems.
Old false reports were repeatedly shared in social media this week.
The report contains a hodgepodge of claims.
The fake news story was recycled and published a few days after Robredo’s camp contested the inclusion of Iloilo City in the electoral recount between her and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The website deliberately changed the headline of the May 22 Manila Standard report it copy-pasted as its content.
This story is misleading. Don’t believe it.
Ang powerpoint presentation ni Mendoza ay hindi sumusuporta sa pahayag ni Robredo.
Mendoza’s presentation does not support Robredo’s claim.
A story claiming the camp of Vice President Leni Robredo has filed a petition before the Supreme Court to have her rival, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., undergo a DNA test to prove he is the son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos was published April 13 by bopols.com, a satirical news site created in 2009.
