THE number of Filipinos dissatisfied with President Gloria Arroyo’s performance has climbed to 62 percent, resulting in her net satisfaction rating dropping to -38, the latest Social Weather Stations survey said.
A -38 net rating is classified as “bad,” the research organization said.
The SWS said its Sept. 18 to 21 poll found only 23 percent satisfied with Arroyo’s performance.
Arroyo’s net satisfaction rating in July was -38, or 26 percent satisfied and 56 percent dissatisfied.
The SWS reported worsening dissatisfaction in the rest of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, and continued high dissatisfaction in Metro Manila.
Arroyo’s net satisfaction rating in Luzon went down from –32 to -45; Mindanao, from -21 to -27; and the Visayas, from -28 to -32. It remained at –46 in Metro Manila.
Dissatisfaction also intensified in both rural and urban areas and all socioeconomic classes. Men and women were equally dissatisfied with Arroyo, the SWS said.
The SWS polled 1,800 adults. The margin of error is ±2.3% for national percentages.
