VERA FILES FACT CHECK: Poe not blocking Facebook app if reelected

The website reposted April 5 a fake news about Sen. Grace Poe wanting to block Facebook. The site was created in August 2017.

Poe, chair of the Senate committee on public information and mass media, during the Jan. 30 hearing said the social media giant should cooperate with authorities to fight fake news.

The senator is up for reelection in 2019.
