Reelectionist Sen. Bong Go, the principal author and sponsor of Republic Act No. 11463, or the Malasakit Centers Act of 2019, has made no announcement about the supposed P5,000 cash assistance on his official Facebook page, website or in any public communication channels.

Go, the principal author and sponsor of Republic Act No. 11463, or the Malasakit Centers Act of 2019, has made no announcement about the supposed cash assistance on his official Facebook page, website or in any public communication channels.

Malasakit Centers function as one-stop shops for four agencies: the Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.

These centers allow poor and financially incapacitated patients to seek medical and financial assistance from the said agencies without having to leave hospital premises.

The posts instructed voters who are interested in claiming the alleged ayuda to register through two fake links provided: one leads to a “PDP LABAN (CASH ASSISTANCE)” blog that asks for a user’s personal information, including name, address, and phone number, while the other redirects netizens to an e-commerce site.

The fraudulent FB posts emerged a day after the 2025 national and local elections.

Uploaded by FB page Malasakit Center – Online Application (created on May 13, 2025), the fake posts have collectively garnered 1,120 reactions, 1,429 comments, and 2,093 shares as of writing.
