On April 3, at about 2 a.m., Cunado and her husband Gerry were awakened by the suspect and his wife who were shouting in front of the victims’ house, calling them communists and terrorists.
The couple came out to settle the matter. A few minutes later, they were shot. Liezelda died while Gerry survived the attack.
