A Filipino Facebook user uploaded a reel showing low-flying military aircraft near a populated area, giving the impression that it is related to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This is misleading.
Uploaded on June 23, the 18-second video included overlaid text that read:
“grabi yung akala ko g AI lang so totoo na pala to pano kaya to matatapos puro e puro gantihan (seriously, what i thought was just AI turned out to be real. How will it end if they keep retaliating)”

The video does not show military operations but a formation of jets from the 2025 Hyundai Sea and Air Show in Florida. It is not related to the war between Iran and Israel.
A reverse image search revealed that the footage was originally posted last May 25 by Instagram user aviation_aidan. The caption of the post indicated that the video was taken during the first day of the show on Miami Beach.
According to an article by the U.S. Strategic Command, the jets were part of the Air Force Global Strike Command’s first-ever demonstration of the tri-bomber formation called “The Freedom Flyover.”
The formation consisted of seven aircraft including the B-2 Spirit, B-1B Lancer, B-52H Stratofortress, F-22 Raptor, F-15C Eagle, F-16C Fighting Falcon and A-10 Thunderbolt II. This reportedly marked the first time a fighter aircraft joined to create a dissimilar formation.
The misleading video surfaced among Filipino netizens amidst the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.
VERA Files has debunked several other videos falsely portraying civilians and war footage in the Middle East.
As of writing, the reel posted by Facebook user Anne GR has garnered over 3.4 million views, 33,000 reactions, 1,100 shares and 407 comments.
