Multiple Facebook posts circulating online are claiming Zaldy Co has released a list of the trillion-peso flood control corruption masterminds. This is fake.
Since Nov 14, these posts have surfaced in various FB pages containing the list purportedly published by the former Ako Bicol Party List representative who is himself accused of manipulating and pocketing public funds meant for flood control projects. A netizen asked for verification of the list through the VERA Files Misinformation Tipline.
The original post bore the caption:
“Mga kinanta ni Zaldy Co,kayu na humusga #arpievelez #myself #highlighteveryone @highlight
[Zaldy Co implicated [these individuals]], you guys be the judge #arpievelez #myself #highlighteveryone @highlight].”
The photo featured in the post carried the headline:
“MON TULFO, BINABANTAYAN NG TAONG BAYAN ANG SUMUSUNOD NA MGA MASTERMIND NA MGA KAWATAN SA TRILYON-TRILYONG PISO NA PERA NG TAONG BAYAN
[Mon Tulfo, the people are watching the following masterminds who stole trillions of pesos of the people’s money.]”
The post released the names of 51 individuals with the following text:
“AT IBA PANG CONGRESSMAN AT PERSONALIDAD NA NAKINABANG SA KORAPSYON! SILA ANG TOTOONG DESTABILIZERS NG GOBYERNO AT ANG KANILANG KRIMEN AY ECONOMIC SABOTAGE, PLUNDER AT CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY DAHIL SA MASSIVE CORRUPTION SA FLOOD CONTROL FUNDS NA PUMATAY NG DAAN-DAANG PILIPINO AT KAILANGAN NA MAKULONG SILANG LAHAT A.S.A.P.
KAYO NA ANG MAGDAGDAG SA LISTAHAN …
[And other congressmen and personalities who benefited from corruption! They are the true destabilizers of the government, and their crimes consist of economic sabotage, plunder, and crimes against humanity due to the massive corruption in flood control funds that killed hundreds of Filipinos, and all of them need to be imprisoned A.S.A.P. You guys add more to the list.”
Co has not publicly released any such list which remains unverified.

Zaldy Co, through his official FB page, has published several posts on the list of P100 billion budget insertions in 2025 as allegedly ordered by President Ferdinand Marcos, as well as presidential son and Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos’ 2024 list of budget insertions.
He has not publicized a list of officials involved in public works projects.
The unverified list started circulating in social media on the same day Co, who was chairman of the appropriations committee in the House of Representatives before he resigned, first released the data on budget insertions on Nov. 14.
The fake posts, published by various Facebook digital content creators, have so far garnered 3,481 reactions; 1,639 comments; and 2,365 shares.
