Ensure judicious spending of agencies' budget

- The government spent 99% of its 2024 cash allocation, with P4.83 trillion of the total P4.9 trillion cash releases utilized by national government agencies, local government units and government owned and controlled corporations. This is higher than the 98% cash utilization rate recorded in 2022 and 2023.
- Despite this, underspending was recorded in some agencies in 2024. The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development had the highest underspending rate of 33%, meaning it failed to utilize P1.1 billion of its P2.3 billion cash allocation.
