VOTING precincts with less than a hundred voters will be regrouped into one clustered precinct to maximize the Commission on Election’s use of its manpower, money and equipment in the May 13 elections.
Chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. said Thursday they have “re-clustered” the precincts because of the increase in the number of registered voters in the mid-term elections to 52 million, or two million more than in 2010.
The clustered precincts belong to the same city or municipality and voting centers, he said. The number of voters in a clustered precinct will not exceed 1,000 voters.
