Several Facebook posts claim that Filipino television and radio personality Ben Tulfo is urging his younger brother, Sen. Erwin Tulfo, to resign amid the Senate chaos. This is fake.
At least four Facebook posts on June 07 and 08 contain a graphic of the Tulfo brothers and a caption that reads:
Part of the caption claimed that Ben is enraged because of the chaos and involvement of his brother in the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee. It read:
There is no publicly available video, official statement, or credible news report showing the older Tulfo making this remark about his brother. The post included a link supposedly of the full statement but actually redirects to an online shopping website.

These posts surfaced after Erwin’s designation as the chairman of the Senate’s Blue Ribbon Committee.
He said on June 5 that he will order the arrest of senators who will hold a hearing of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee other than the one he would preside over as chairman. He later apologized to the other senators from Cayetano’s bloc for this statement.
The post by FB page Balita Ngayon (created June 2025) with 3,300 followers as of writing has so far garnered 1,978 reactions, 200 shares, and 295 comments. The three other posts have collectively gained 1,648 reactions, 321 comments, and 100 shares.
