Students, faculty and Benedictine sisters of St. Scholastica’s College in Manila dance to the music of One Billion Rising to support a global movement to abolish violence against women and girls and advance gender equality on Feb. 15.

The annual event, which was in hiatus for four years due to the pandemic, aims to empower women and girls in “building a future where everyone, regardless of gender can live with equality, respect and dignity.”
