UNIVERSITY of the Philippines President Alfredo Pascual and UP Diliman Chancellor Michael Tan gave Superstar Nora Aunor a certificate of recognition as the 10th Gawad Plaridel Awardee.
Aunor posed with UP officials before the press, who descended on the UP Film Center’s Cine Adarna Theater where the ceremonies where held Aug. 27.
Aunor was born Nora Villamayor and rose from poverty in Bicol to become one of the country’s best actresses.
