Despite the hashtags #SatireNews and #parody indicated in the post, some netizens believed the story was true.

Netizens revived an old report about the charges filed against Vice President Leni Robredo in 2019 to insinuate that she does not have a “clean record.”

A Facebook (FB) page falsely claimed that the Commission on Elections (Comelec) admitted to attempting election fraud against presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
