In his previous “Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa” episodes aired on Sonshine International Media Network, Duterte uttered expletives, threats and various allegations in his harsh criticisms of government officials, such as ACT Party-list Rep. France Castro and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.

Mali ang pahayag ni dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na hindi siya naging bastos at wala siyang naalalang opisyal ng gobyerno na napuna niya ng “malala” sa kanyang programang “Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa” sa telebisyon.
Sinabi niya ito sa press conference sa Davao City noong Enero 7 nang nagpahayag ng saloobin si Duterte tungkol sa pagsuspinde at pag-iimbestiga sa Sonshine Media Network International, kung saan ipinalabas ang kanyang programa.
