Gina Acosta, former special disbursing officer at the Office of the Vice President, took the witness stand at the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte on Aug. 17.
She related that she encashed the P125 million check for the confidential funds of Vice President Sara Duterte at Land Bank Shaw Boulevard branch on Dec, 20, 2022. She placed the money in P1 million bundles in four duffel bags and as instructed by Duterte, turned them over to Col. Raymund Lachica, chief of the Vice-Presidential Security and Protection Group
