JUST when we were getting excited by another set of accounts by Chief Justice Renato Corona with the Philippine Savings Bank, Katipunan branch, totaling some P36 million which were withdrawn on Dec. 12, 2012, the day the House of Representatives approved the impeachment of the Chief Justice, bank manager Annabel Tiongson dropped another information that brought us back to the fascinating tale of the "small lady" that has regaled us the past days.

THE name “Bolet Banal” came out on Day 19 of the Corona impeachment trial on Thursday after PSBank Katipunan bank manager Annabelle Tiongson identified him as the person who went to her branch on Jan. 31 and sought her help on a dollar account of Chief Justice Renato Corona.
Bolet Banal is none other than Jorge Banal, who was elected in representative of the third district of Quezon City in 2010.
HOUSE prosecutors said on Tuesday they submitted "in good faith" the documents that served as the basis for the subpoena issued to the Philippine Savings Bank to produce certifications on impeached Chief Justice Renato Corona's bank accounts. In a 13-page answer to PSBank Katipunan branch manager Annabelle Tiongson's testimony that the documents were not authentic, the prosecution reiterated Oriental Mindoro Rep.
