The U.S. Food and Drug Administration ordered Pfizer and Moderna to update their COVID-19 vaccine warnings to include heart damage risk. However, the warning refers only to increased risk and not guaranteed damage.
There is also “no scientific evidence available that suggests that spike proteins created in our bodies from the COVID-19 vaccines are toxic or damaging [to] our organs,” according to a team of health experts from global technology nonprofit Meedan.
Health experts and authorities say a direct link between the drug and ITP remains uncertain.
A Nov. 30 post by India-based Facebook (FB) page Mr Scientific circulating among Filipinos claimed the vaccine candidate of biotechnology company Moderna, Inc. was found to be “100% effective against COVID-19.”
