Ten days since the nationwide ban in smoking in public and
enclosed places took effect, the Department of Health (DOH) continues to encourage
local government units to form their own Smoke-Free Task Force. DOH, the lead
agency implementing President Duterte’s executive order says these task forces will
help the Philippine National Police (PNP) enforce the law.
