A Facebook page posted a photo claiming that Kris Aquino had passed away. A similar post also alleged that the former presidential daughter and sister had been bewitched and the person supposedly behind this has been identified. These are fake.
Published on May 11, the erroneous post featured a collage of photos of Aquino with her sons, along with a fabricated quote attributed to younger son Bimby saying, “Wala na si Mama.”
The post also carried a caption that read:
“Kris Aquino’s Final Moments Leave Her Family in Tears—A Heartbreaking Farewell That Shocks the Entire Nation as the Truth Behind Her Emotional Last Days Is Finally Revealed, Stirring an Outpouring of Love, Grief, and Prayers from Fans Across the Philippines and Around the World.”
On the same day, another user shared a misleading photo with a link to a fake article about Aquino being bewitched. It bore a caption saying:
“SH0CKING REVEAL: Identity of Kris Aquino’s Alleged “Curser” Finally EXPOSED – Pinoys React With Outrage and Disbelief! Public Can’t Believe Who It Is!”
Aquino debunked the rumors on her social media accounts.
In an interview with a Probinsyano Ako party-list representative, posted on Instagram and Facebook on May 10, she expressed frustration over the persistent spread of false information regarding her health.
“Matagal ko nang gustong tumira sa tabing dagat kasi yung simoy ng hangin sobrang nakakatulong, bukas na lang (I’ve long wanted to live by the seaside because the fresh air will help [my condition], tomorrow after my PET scan i will tell you the TRUTH because i am so tired of seeing i am dead, na itong healer ang may solusyon, na may kumulam sakin (that this healer has a solution, and someone has cast a spell on me) – please STOP,” Aquino wrote in a caption.
“Let’s all continue to pray for everyone experiencing pain daily,” she added.

The recent fake posts collectively garnered 1,360 reactions, 405 comments, and 21 shares as of writing.
