A video circulating online claims to show a crowd who are supposedly supporters of Vice President Sara Duterte. This is false.
On July 26, a Facebook user uploaded a seven-second reel with an overlaid text that read:
“GRABE GANITO KAMAHAL SI INDAY SARA NG MGA TAO
(WOW THIS IS HOW MUCH THE PEOPLE LOVE INDAY SARA).”
The caption of the post also stated:
“SUPPORT NG TAONG BAYAN KAY INDAY SARA NAPAKA SOLID. #FYI
(The people’s support for Inday Sara is rock solid. #FYI).”
This video was taken in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where people had gathered to support the country’s national team in the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2026.

A reverse image search led VERA Files to a clean copy of the video published on X on June 22 by Corta, an Argentine digital news outlet. The caption of the post, originally written in Spanish, stated:
“This is what Plaza Seeber looked like during the fan fest in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for Argentina’s match against Austria.”
The video was also posted by the chief of government of Buenos Aires, Argentina on Facebook and Instagram.
The false video surfaced after pro-Duterte Filipinos held a gathering in the United Kingdom, where the vice president appeared and delivered a speech. Duterte faces an impeachment trial over alleged misuse of confidential funds, unexplained wealth, bribery, and threat to the lives of President Ferdinand Marcos, First-Lady Liza Marcos, and former House speaker Martin Romualdez.
As of writing, the video uploaded by a netizen has so far garnered 193,000 views; 3,500 reactions; 321 comments; and 789 shares.
