Vice President Sara Duterte is facing a subpoena from the National Bureau of Investigation for her “alleged grave threats” against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
In a profanity-laden broadcast on Nov. 23, Duterte lashed out at her UniTeam mate Marcos, First Lady Liza Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, accusing them of lying and corruption.
This was when she rushed to be with her chief of staff Zuleika Lopez, who was staying at the detention center of the House of Representatives after she was cited in contempt for “undue interference” in the investigation into the confidential funds of the Office of the Vice President.
