Catholic churches all over the country were a scene of faith and joy as people wave their palm branches to be blessed.

Palm Sunday ushers Holy Week when Catholics recall the sufferings of Jesus Christ to save mankind. It is worthy to note that stories of those events more than 2,000 years ago mentioned that many of those who welcomed Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem were among those who also lauded his crucifixion.

Palm branches used during Palm Sunday have become a demonstration of Filipino creativity and entrepreneurship.
