Road rules: Surviving an hour on Metro Manila roads

UNDISCIPLINED motorists, illegally parked vehicles, unauthorized jeepney terminals, unruly pedestrians.

These are just some of the problems that add to the growing list of traffic woes commuters and motorists face every day, says the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.

VERA Files conducted a simple experiment to find out how often we encounter, or even commit traffic violations. Every time we’re out on the road, we expose ourselves to risks.

Just how many violations can happen in an hour? We took a trip from West Avenue to EDSA corner Kamuning Road in Quezon City,  on a weekday, after office hours.
