Dela Rosa’s statement runs counter to Duterte’s past pronouncements about his apparent “kill, kill, kill” policy involving alleged communists and drug suspects.

In a phone interview with Senate reporters on Oct. 13, Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa belied allegations that former president Rodrigo Duterte was threatening  ACT Party-list Rep. France Castro, whom Duterte baselessly accused as a “communist” in Congress that “he wanted to kill.”

Dela Rosa’s explanation of Duterte’s statement runs counter to past pronouncements of the former president. Watch this:
