Goodnewsnetworkph.com published May 23 a story with a false headline claiming Vice President Leni Robredo is forcing the Presidential Electoral Tribunal to exclude Iloilo province from the vice presidential vote recount.
The website deliberately changed the headline of the May 22 Manila Standard report it copy-pasted as its content from “Robredo wants Iloilo City out of recount” to “Leni Robredo nababahala, pini-pilit ang PET na wag na isama ang ILOILO sa VP Vote Recount (Leni Robredo anxious, forcing PET to exclude ILOILO from VP Vote Recount).”
The story’s biggest traffic generator is the pro-Duterte Facebook page managed by Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux “Mocha” Uson, MOCHA USON BLOG. Goodnewsnetworkph.com was created in November 2017.
