Matapos magdesisyon ang liderato ng Kongreso na tanggalin ang confidential at intelligence funds (CIF) ng civilian agencies tulad ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education, nagbago ang hirit ni VP Sara Duterte tungkol sa hinihinging P650-million CIF sa 2024 national budget.
Naging mainit ang diskusyon sa CIF dahil umano sa kawalan ng transparency at accountability sa paggamit ng pondo.
