Every year, environmentalists observe Earth Hour when for one hour they ask those who care about this planet to switch off lights and electrical appliances to give it a time to breathe.
Initiated by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in 2017 to raise awareness to climate change, it is usually held on a Saturday evening in March.
In the Philippines, it was held last March 22 at Rizal Park. Concerned citizens held a candle-light procession. Pyrolights dancers with LED lights costumes provided a dramatic and meaningful performance.
