When the lights went off

In the Philippines, Earth Hour was held last March 22 at Rizal Park. Concerned citizens held a candle-light procession. Pyrolights dancers with LED lights costumes provided a dramatic and meaningful performance.

Every year, environmentalists observe Earth Hour when for one hour they ask those who care about this planet to switch off lights and electrical appliances to give it a time to breathe.

Initiated by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in 2017 to raise awareness to climate change, it is usually held on a Saturday evening in March.

In the Philippines, it was held last March 22 at Rizal Park. Concerned citizens held a candle-light procession. Pyrolights dancers with LED lights costumes provided a dramatic and meaningful performance.
