Ang Comelec ay hindi gumawa ng tiyak na pahayag sa pagsasampa ng mga kasong kriminal laban sa mga guro na umatras sa kanilang mga tungkulin sa electoral board. Ang sinabi ni Comelec Chairman George Garcia ay magsasampa ang poll body ng mga kaso laban sa mga nagbanta o naging dahilan ng karahasan sa mga guro at iba pang election personnel.
