The Philippines and United States hold their annual capability-enhancing military exercises as the Philippine Navy counters China’s disinformation over newly formed sand bars in West Philippine Sea.
About 10,000 American and 5,000 Filipino troops are participating in the joint drills being held at Naval Education Training and Doctrine Command (NETDC ) of the Philippine Navy in San Antonio, Zambales.
Last Sunday’s exercises saw U.S. Marines using the MADIS (Marine Air Defense Integrated System) fire stinger missiles at a mock enemy drone during a live-fire event.
