ENTERING his third year in the presidency, Benigno Aquino III continues to enjoy the trust and confidence of the people who put him in office.  Elected by 42 percent of the voting population in 2010, Noynoy sailed through his first year in office with a satisfaction rating of up to +64 points, according to the Social Weather Stations.

Although his trust rating has continued to slide after the honeymoon period, dipping to its lowest at +42 points two months before his third State of the Nation Address, this is still considered good according to SWS standards.

Pulse Asia also reported that Aquino’s 2012 approval rating has dropped significantly compared to his 2010 numbers: 12 percent drop for approval rating and 15 percent drop for his trust rating.
