Bilang pagtugon sa mga alegasyon ng katiwalian sa National Youth Commission (NYC), sinabi ni Chairperson Ronald Cardema na walang mga notice of disallowance na inilabas ang Commission on Audit (COA) sa ahensya. Ito ay hindi totoo.
Inihayag ni Kabataan Partylist Rep. Raoul Manuel sa House plenary session noong Setyembre 27 ang mga iregularidad umano sa mga gastos ng NYC na na-flag ng COA mula noong 2018. Nanawagan ang kongresista para sa pagbibitiw ni Cardema.
