Another scam is targeting netizens, this time claiming fast food giant Jollibee is hosting a “lucky draw” for P7,000 in line with its “44th anniversary.” The links, circulating on Facebook (FB) and FB Messenger, lead to bogus websites.

Two Facebook (FB) reels claiming that God has appeared to mankind though an image of Jesus Christ behind the clouds has gone viral two weeks ahead of Holy Week. These are fake.

A video posted on YouTube and Facebook (FB) presented as “breaking news” footage of the alleged presence of 200 Chinese militia vessels in the West Philippine Sea and actions taken by the United States’ (U.S.) against the threat.

A YouTube video falsely passed off old clips of armored fighting vehicles to claim that the United States (U.S.) gave “for free” 1,000 military tanks to the Philippines. The U.S. has made no such donation.

Facebook posts claim to give away 500 Philips LatteGo4300 coffee machines and ask netizens to join the raffle by giving their personal information and paying a participation fee of P110. The posts are fake.  

A video on Facebook is claiming to show footage of the execution of the first Filipino who received the death penalty. Not true. The video is actually from a movie scene.

Two YouTube videos falsely claim that President Bongbong Marcos has appointed Rep. Rodante Marcoleta as a cabinet member. This is not true.

A YouTube video claimed that senior citizens would receive a P1,000 cash aid from the Philippine government. Not all seniors will receive this monetary assistance.

A Facebook page is erroneously claiming that Justice Secretary Boying Remulla has ordered the imprisonment of Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. over the murder of his province’s governor, Roel Degamo.

A video circulating on social media carried a misleading claim about divorce finally being “approved” in the Philippines.

Four videos advertising magnetic underwear that allegedly enlarge one’s penis size illicitly used vlogs by Dr. Willie Ong and a medical doctor. There's no medical or scientific explanation to this claim.

Several links circulated via FB Messenger that redirect netizens to sites claiming Petron Corp. is giving away P7,000 for their 90th anniversary.
