Various Facebook (FB) pages are sharing an album of images supposedly showing the ramifications of Typhoon Paeng (international name: Nalgae) on Filipino farmers. The album erroneously used old photos and passed them off as new. Uploaded on Oct. 29, the posts featured eight images of devastated crops, crying farmers and dead livestock. Its caption read:

Nanmadol, which swept across parts of Japan early this week, left severely damaged properties and establishments in its wake. Actual images taken then were included in the FB post, except that of the wrecked solar panels.
Local media also reported on the president’s aerial inspection of the Bicol region and his visit to Guinobatan, Albay on Nov. 2.
The circulating photos actually show victims of Tropical Storm Wipha in Vietnam, which ravaged the country’s northern provinces in August last year.
All four clips featured in the 46-second video show different instances of flooding in Laos and Thailand.
No LPAs or storms have been observed forming near the country or in the PAR, at least for the next few days, according to latest forecasts.
