Former president Rodrigo Duterte says he is “not that rich” and could not afford frequent travel by air from Davao City to Manila.

Misleading:

On Feb. 16, 2017, Duterte himself said his family is not poor. VERA Files had reported that Duterte had at least P211 million at the Bank of the Philippine Islands, which he did not declare in his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth.
