‘Shit happens’ at Senate hearing of EJKs and Duterte’s drug war

Duterte and his cohorts, Sens. Ronald "Bato" de la Rosa and Christopher "Bong" Go were unapologetic even as relatives of EJK victims narrated the lies and cruelties they were subjected to.

Arrogant and unrepentant, former President Rodrigo once again displayed his twisted thinking that killing is the ultimate solution to the problem of illegal drugs at the Senate hearing Monday. In between expletives, he admitted maintaining a death squad during his mayorship of Davao City.

The Senate Blue Ribbon committee headed by Sen. Aquilino  Martin “KoKo” Pimentel III is probing, in aid of legislation, the extra-judicial killings committed in the implementation of Duterte’s drug war.

Duterte and his cohorts, Sens. Ronald “Bato” de la Rosa and Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go were unapologetic even as relatives of EJK victims narrated the lies and cruelties they were subjected to.

Outside the Senate building, anti-Duterte rallyists overwhelmed  with their chants and placards the few pro- Duterte supporters who also staged a rally.
