Former president Rodrigo Duterte is being punished unreasonably before he is proven guilty of the charges filed against him

Misleading:

Duterte is being detained at the ICC to ensure his physical attendance for the confirmation of charges hearing, which the Pre-Trial Chamber postponed upon the request of the former president’s lawyers. Once the hearing proceeds, he will still be detained for his trial, as the court determines the sufficiency or insufficiency of the evidence against him.
