A YouTube channel is touting a conspiracy theory that the late President Noynoy Aquino faked his death in an attempt to boost the candidacy of former Vice President Leni Robredo in the 2022 elections.

A reverse image search revealed the “Aquino” clip was taken during Duterte’s term.
The two photos of a trash-filled Manila Bay were NOT taken during the administration of President Noynoy Aquino, but in 2008 and 2018.
The charges were filed based on a fake document that allegedly allowed the Aquino admin to deposit and ship 3,500 metric tons of gold to Thailand.
Many of the bronze busts, statues and monuments were not built during the terms of both Aquinos. Some of the statues were also privately funded or donated by artists.
