Gumawa ng nakaliligaw na pahayag si Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) na ang Korte Suprema ay nagpasya na "walang panganib sa buhay, kalayaan at seguridad kapag ang isang tao ay kinilala bilang miyembro ng CPP NPA NDF.” Tugon niya ito sa komento ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra na nagbabala laban sa mga red-tagging ng mga indibidwal nang walang patunay.
