Students are walking out of their classrooms to the streets to deliver their message to those in power: Stop corruption. Punish the guilty.

Students from University of the Philippines Diliman, UP Manila, University of Sto. Tomas, Ateneo de Manila University, Far Eastern University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, De La Salle- St. Benilde College. St Scholastica College, Technological University of the Philippines, Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute, Philippine Normal University, staged protest actions inside and outside their respective campuses.

On Oct. 17, some even went to Mendiola, where Malacañang is heavily protected by barbed wires.

Their placards expressed their outrage over the corruption and the shamelessness of those who have been entrusted to manage the government. They feel they have been robbed of a stable future.

The young people are angry. Those in power better listen.
