A vlogger claimed that former vice president Leni Robredo admitted there was no electoral fraud during the May 10, 2022 election.

LENI ROBREDO SA WAKAS UMAMIN DIN NA WALANG NAGANAP NA DAYAAN SA ELEKSYON (Leni Robredo finally admitted that no electoral fraud happened during the election)!the title of a Dec. 10 video by Facebook page Badong Aratiles claimed.

Not true. What Robredo actually said in a Dec. 7 event of the anti-imperialist, transnational feminist organization AF3IRM National was, “Hindi ko po sinasabing walang dayaan na nangyari. Ang sinasabi ko lang… walang nakita ‘yong ating mga teams (I’m not saying that no electoral fraud happened. I’m only saying that… our teams didn’t see anything).”

She stated this after telling Filipina author Ninotcha Rosca that she did not file an election protest after losing the May election because her team could not find evidence of electoral fraud.

The vlogger, Badong Aratiles – who has been previously fact-checked – also told the Robredo camp to stop saying they lost because of mis- and disinformation because they could not provide examples. This is inaccurate.

Robredo was the most frequent target of election-related disinformation in 2021 while her rival Marcos benefitted the most, VERA Files Fact Check reported.

The video by Badong Aratiles (created on May 2, 2022 under the name SOLID Duterte DIE HARD Supporters’ Page) got a total of 3,300 reactions, 329 comments, and 45,000 views.
