The PET unanimously dismissed “the entire electoral protest” of the former senator on Feb. 16, 2021. Less than three months later on May 11, Marcos Jr. filed a motion for reconsideration, asking the tribunal to review his third cause of action in which he sought to annul the results of the 2016 vice presidential race in Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, and Basilan.
A fake quote card bearing Rappler’s logo claimed that Vice President Leni Robredo said her and her running mate’s victory in the 2022 polls is guaranteed.
Former broadcaster Jay Sonza misled people by using a different photo in a Facebook “congratulatory” post on the number of attendees in the April 23 #ArawNa10To! rally held in Pasay City for Vice President Leni Robredo.
Joma Sison said he has neither been advising Robredo nor consulting with her spokesperson Barry Gutierrez. The Robredo camp has denied any relation or communication with the CPP or Sison.
The claims were based on the conjectures by a reporter in soliciting a reaction from three presidential candidates.
In an email to VERA Files Fact Check, Sison said he has neither been advising Robredo nor consulting with her spokesperson Barry Gutierrez.
