Demand for accountability in public service was the loud and clear message by the thousands who gathered at Edsa Shrine Jan. 31.
They were directing their message to Vice President Sara Duterte who is the subject of several impeachment complaints filed with the House of Representatives. There were also some placards that included President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
The protesters criticized congressmen for not immediately responding to the public’s demand for accountability from Duterte.
