Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) made a misleading claim that the Supreme Court had ruled that “there is no danger to life, liberty and security when you are identified as a member of the CPP NPA NDF.”
Communications Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy, concurrent spokesperson of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), claimed once again without basis that Vice President Leni Robredo “colluded” with the Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army – National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) and select party-list groups in the May elections.
Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Maria “Joma” Sison is alive, contrary to the claim of Communications Undersecretary Lorraine Marie Badoy in a Feb. 25 Facebook (FB) post.
Badoy, who also serves as a spokesperson of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), denied in an April 20 Facebook (FB) post that she made such a pronouncement, calling the made-up quote a “piece of fake news.”
