The Senate investigation on alleged corruption in the implementation of flood control projects made last Saturday’s experience more infuriating.

What I thought would be the usual  slow weekend for family chores and errands turned out to be another stressful day, stuck in the flood for hours.

I was supposed to pick up my wife and her colleague who had a meeting at the University of the Philippines, Diliman in Quezon City when heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms poured non-stop for almost two hours.

Streets immediately became flooded. Stuck in the flood, here are some scenes I captured.
