Facebook scammers are at it again, this time posting fake promotions about an online sale of air conditioners.

Several Facebook pages are fraudulently promoting a milk supplement that claims to treat diabetes in just under a week.

Various Facebook (FB) pages are sharing an album of images supposedly showing the ramifications of Typhoon Paeng (international name: Nalgae) on Filipino farmers. The album erroneously used old photos and passed them off as new.  Uploaded on Oct. 29, the posts featured eight images of devastated crops, crying farmers and dead livestock. Its caption read: 

A Facebook group posing as the DSWD created posts falsely interpreted by typhoon victims as a legitimate raffle for government aid.

Several Facebook posts are circulating an image allegedly showing the devastation caused by Typhoon Paeng to Cotabato City.

Another set of fake advertisements claims several people fainted after crowding and lining up at SM MOA to buy a Japanese air conditioner.

Another Facebook page has illicitly used the face of Doc Willie Ong, this time, to promote a supplement supposedly effective against diabetes.

Several Facebook pages continue to share a doctored GMA News report on bikers being allowed to go on long rides.

A graphic claiming Sen. Jinggoy Estrada wants to ban the United States National Basketball Association (NBA) from the country is satire. 

An image claims President Bongbong Marcos named Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire as the new head of the Philippine National Police. 

A fake quote card claimed that Sen. Robin Padilla said he would legislate a law allowing every Filipino man to have five wives.

A YouTube video falsely reported as news a satirical piece about Leni Robredo supposedly scamming Harvard University students.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also did not recognize Bongbong Marcos as the “most powerful president in the world."

A video uploaded on Facebook claimed that Kabataan Party-list Rep. Raoul Manuel has been removed from his position. It is not true. Manuel has been a target of disinformation in the past few weeks.
