President Ferdinand Marcos racked up 29 SONA promises on social services since he took office three years ago. Half still remain in progress.

Three years after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. vowed to enhance the country’s food security, seven of his agriculture-related promises are still in progress, five have been fulfilled and three priority legislations were stuck in limbo.

Benefits for government workers were at the forefront of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s labor-related promises during his third State of the Nation Address last year. But midway through its term, the administration still lags in addressing joblessness in the country.

Midway through his term, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. remains committed to delivering infrastructure projects “with a heart for people’s comfort, security, and progress.” However, the same challenges continue to hound his administration’s pursuit of “building better more.”
